Rail profile in top shape
Track treatment trains in the form of a milling machine are used to reprofile the rail head. Rail defects are rectified, and the profile is created with the quality required. This increases the service life of the rails for the customer, which has a positive effect on maintenance costs for the rail network.
Thanks to the combination of milling and grinding, track maintenance machines from Robel Bahnbaumaschinen GmbH equipped with our work units achieve quality results in line with customer requirements.

The right milling unit for heavy rail systems and long layers. With almost 600 cutting edges on the circumference and a large milling wheel diameter of 1445 mm, trains equipped with it are ready for whatever demanding task awaits them

Whether it’s for heavy rail systems or urban rail networks – the RMU 600 promises a customized performance with a milling wheel diameter of 600 mm. Our latest standard is the RMU 2.0

About us
Founded in 2017 – born much earlier
The idea behind SBI has been around for several decades, with the current structure in place since 2017. Together with our partner companies and shareholders, we tailor work units to our customers for a wide range of applications.

SBI is not only synonymous with innovation, but also with high-quality service on existing machines
Repair or Retrofit
We also supply spare parts, documentation, and solutions for work units that were in use before SBI was founded. That way we guarantee our customers long-term use of their machines.
Maintenance integration
The integrated diagnostics system facilitates rapid troubleshooting.
In-Situ Service
In cooperation with our service partner Plasser Robel Services (PRS), we also send our service and commissioning team to the site where our machines are in use.
